Morgan Horne Memorial Scholarship Luncheon 2024
The warmth and spirit of Morgan Horne were felt in every corner of Dolce Vita Italian Bistro on Friday, May 16, as friends, family, and supporters gathered for the 2025 Morgan Horne Memorial Scholarship Luncheon. What started as a way to keep Morgan’s memory alive has grown into a tradition that not only honors her legacy, but also lifts up young women who share her love for golf and her drive to make a difference.
This year, the Morgan Horne Memorial Fund presented scholarships to seven outstanding graduating female golfers from T.L. Hanna and Westside High School. The recipients—Ms. Kaden Collins, Ms. Isabella Dungan, Ms. Nikki Hagler, Ms. Reece Hindman, Ms. Paige Monaghan, Ms. Katelyn Pressley (all from Westside), and Ms. Olivia Wallach (T.L. Hanna)—stood as living proof of the positive ripple effect Morgan’s story continues to have.
Each name called was a reminder of Morgan’s passion for the game and for life, and of her family’s dedication to supporting others in her honor. Even as the luncheon celebrated academic and athletic achievement, it was also a day to remember Morgan’s generosity, her bright spirit, and the way she inspired those around her.
The Morgan Horne Memorial Fund, established after Morgan’s life was tragically cut short in 2023, is more than just a tribute. It’s a movement—one that ensures Morgan’s legacy endures by giving others the chance to pursue their own dreams. Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients, and thank you to everyone who helps keep Morgan’s memory alive. For more about Morgan and the fund’s mission, visit morgangives.org.
